HomeTowne Realty was founded by North Carolina natives James Lipscomb and Barry Woodard. Not only have these two helped thousands of clients make their dream of homeownership a reality, they’ve created a culture based on community connections.

Barry Woodard & James Lipscomb were raised in the Clayton community where hard work and community involvement were instilled in them from a young age. They combined forces in 2001 to start HomeTowne Realty and share their passion for the area by helping others buy & sell homes.

No one knows the area better than our team of HomeTowne agents who are trained and specialized in the communities we serve. Not only have we helped thousands of clients make their dream of homeownership a reality, HTR has created a culture based on community connections.
